Hemp cigarettes (or CBD cigarettes) are a new alternative to traditional tobacco cigarettes that has been quickly gaining popularity across the country. Containing zero tobacco and no nicotine, many people are finding hemp cigarettes to be their preferred smoke over tobacco.
Here are some of the characteristics of hemp cigarettes:
People smoke hemp cigarettes for different reasons. Our goal is to make the best product for whichever reason it is that landed you here. Some of the potential benefits that draw people towards hemp cigarettes include:
When we first tried CBD cigarettes, long before this company was founded, we thought that they were a great idea. What we found instead were harsh, bitter, and cheaply made stuff.
There was so much potential in hemp as a tobacco replacement, but no one had stepped up to the plate to do it the right way. There, we saw an opportunity to create something really special. Here are some of the reasons why we're the best:
Our hemp cigarettes contain less than 0.3% THC, the psychoactive ingredient that makes a person high. The short answer is no, though smoking hemp cigarettes may promote relaxation and calmness.
Some people do report feeling a slight head change afterwards. Because there are some trace amounts of THC in our hemp cigarette products, you may experience some mild effects.
One thing to consider is that due to the presence of THC in hemp, if you smoke copious amounts of hemp, you may begin to feel more of the effects of THC. Like anything else you consume, listen to your body and how it reacts to CBD and THC.
According to a 2005 scientific study published by Robert Melamede, the smoke from hemp cigarettes may be less carcinogenic than tobacco cigarettes due to the pharmacological differences between the two plants
Although both tobacco and cannabis must undergo the process of combustion in order to form smoke, the chemical differences between the two result in carcinogenic differences.
Melamede's findings suggest that compounds found in cannabis "have been shown to kill numerous cancer types including lung cancer, breast and prostate caner, leukemia and lymphoma, glioma, skin cancer, and pheocromacytoma." Despite the research, we recommend that you consult with a medical professional prior to using any CBD products.
Many of our customers have quit smoking tobacco cigarettes using CBD cigarettes by replacing their traditional tobacco with CRÈME hemp cigarettes. And because CBD is not known to be addictive, they have been able to stop smoking CBD cigarettes without any experiencing withdrawal symptoms.
Many of our clients report success in quitting smoking tobacco by combining CBD cigarettes with nicotine gum or patches. However, we recommend that you consult with a doctor prior to using any nicotine cessation products alongside CBD products.
Our founders started this company because they were long time smokers. When hemp became legalized, they decided to try using CBD cigarettes to quit smoking. With the help of nicotine gum combined with CBD cigarettes, two of the founders of Sugar finally quit cigarettes after smoking for nearly 20 years.
Side effects are rare and generally very mild, which may include fatigue, dry mouth, drowsiness, nausea. CBD may have some interactions with blood thinner medications. Please consult with your medical professional before taking any CBD products.
Each pack of CRÈME hemp cigarettes contain 20 sticks, just like a pack of cigarettes that you'd buy at the convenienCe store. Our hemp cigarette cartons contain 10 packs, for a total of 200 hemp cigarettes.
If you are a looking for better bang for your buck, then purchasing a carton will be more cost efficient. We give an automatic discount for carton purchases.
CBD itself generally only has mild side effects, as we mentioned earlier. However, inhaling smoke products may be cause lung inflammation, whether it is CBD, tobacco, or other smokable substances.
If you have asthma or other respiratory illness, we recommend that you consult with a doctor before using any type of smoke products.
Because CBD hemp cigarettes only contain trace amounts of THC, the substance that drug tests are checking for, it is unlikely that it will show up. However, it does depend on the sensitivity of the drug test you are taking, as well as how much CBD hemp you are smoking.
If your drug test is extremely sensitive, then trace amounts of THC may appear in your results. Additionally, if you are smoking copious amounts of CBD hemp, then the THC amounts will accumulate, causing elevated levels in your test results.
Another item to note is that not all drug tests test for THC, CBD, or marijuana, and so it is possible that any amount of CBD cigarette consumption may not appear in your drug test.
Some other factors may also play an important factor in whether or not CBD cigarettes will show up in your drug test. The longer the period of time that you go without smoking a CBD cigarette, the longer your body has to expel the compounds from your body. The speed at which your body is able to metabolize CBD or THC will also depend on each individual's metabolism.
Many of our customers report that CBD helps them relax and fall asleep easier at night. Results may differ for every individual, so you may experience CBD differently than others.
To test whether or not CBD cigarettes will help with your sleep, have one cigarette 30 minutes before bedtime. Most of our customers feel a sense of well-being and relaxation, and are able to fall asleep with more ease.
Studies strongly suggest that CBD can help with anxiety in many individuals. In a study that took place in Japan, researchers looked at how CBD might help teenagers with social anxiety disorder. Subjects were given 300mg of CBD or a placebo daily for 4 weeks, and then were measured both at the beginning and end of the treatment periods. According the study, CBD significantly decreased anxiety in the subjects in the CBD group, as opposed to placebo.
In another study that took place in 2017, according to the Brazilian Journal of Psychiatry, 57 men were studied in a simulated public speaking test. The goal of the study was to test different amounts of CBD that was administered to patients against a placebo group. The results were very exciting, as subjects that were administered with a moderate dosage of CBD reported significantly lower levels of anxiety during the test as compared to other groups.
As with all foods and medications, people will always have differing experiences. While further study is warranted, the studies suggest that CBD may help with your anxiety.
There are several studies that looked at CBD and its effects on pain. In 2021, Martin De Vita and the psychology department at Syracuse University performed a study that looked at CBD's analgesic effects in healthy individuals. In a balanced placebo trial, they tested whether or not CBD reduced pain in experimental heat tests.
While the test was complex, due to possible placebo effects, they found that CBD's effect on pain may be a combination of actual analgesic properties as well as a perceived expectation of reduced pain.
These findings are still preliminary, however, many of our customers do report that CBD has helped with their nerve pain. We're unable to make any claims as to the effects of CBD, so it is best that you consult with a doctor prior to using any CBD products.
The World Health Organization (WHO) released a report stating that Cannabidiol (CBD) carries no risk of addiction or dependence. And they added that to date, there isn't any evidence of public health risks or recreational use surrounding CBD.
The FDA announced their approval of a clinical trial evaluating CBD as a treatment for opioid use disorder, which will be conducted at the University of California, Los Angeles.
They FDA has also announced that they will be conducting thorough studies into CBD and its effects on humans due to the significant public interest in cannabis and cannabis-derived compounds.
Yes, hemp cigarettes are legal in the United States. The 2018 Farm Bill legalized all hemp products federally as long as they to not contain more than 0.3% THC (the chemical that makes you high).
A few states currently have more specific regulations regarding the manufacturing, distribution, and possession of hemp, so we suggest you research your home state prior to ordering and receiving any hemp products.

Studies show that CBD can take anywhere from two to five days to leave your system completely based on the half life of CBD. However, there are some factors that may affect this number:
- How frequently you smoke CBD
- The amount of CBD cigarettes you've smoked
- Your own body's metabolism, and how quickly it metabolizes CBD
Some other factors will include how much you've exercised or sweat. Your body weight will also play a role in the relative CBD content remaining in your body after use.
If you are smoking CBD cigarettes to quit tobacco, then try smoking a CBD cigarette each time you really have the urge to smoke a tobacco cigarette, as an alternative.
If you are smoking a CBD cigarette in order to relax, or to help you fall asleep, then having one cigarette should be enough to help ease your nerves.
Some customers just want something to smoke casually, and our CBD cigarettes are perfect for that. Without the addictive substances found in traditional tobacco cigarettes, you don't need to worry about nicotine addiction when enjoying a CRÈME.
There is no one-size-fits-all with CBD dosage. Everyone's body is different, and it may take some experimenting to find out what amount works best for you.
Some of our clients find that smoking half of one cigarette is enough for them to experience their desired results. Others may smoke an entire cigarette, or a bit more in a session. Listen to how your body responds, and adjust your CBD consumption accordingly.
This is a common question, and the answer is that they are the same thing. CBD is a molecule that is found in hemp flower, and so often times the two terms are interchangeable.
With that being said, CBD cigarettes from one company to another will differ greatly. From brand to brand, you will find differences in terms of hemp quality, potency, heavy metals levels, pesticides levels, and many other factors. It's important to study each brand's certificate of analysis(COA) in order to better understand what you are consuming.
Additionally, you will find that some CBD cigarettes will smoke very harshly or crackle and spark when smoked. This is usually the result of seeds or stems being present in the hemp, or that the hemp is overly dry.
Stems and seeds are not meant to be smoked, however, some companies will cut corners during their processing in order to cut costs. Unfortunately, the result is passed on to the consumer in the form of an unpleasant, bitter, and harsh smoke.
After smoking a CBD cigarette, should feel the effects right away, within a few minutes. Depending on the person, the effects can last anywhere between one to three hours after smoking. Your body's level of dependence and tolerance will play a role in its effects.
Unlike CBD oil or other edibles that may up to an hour to kick in, when CBD is inhaled, the effects are almost immediate due to the bioavailability of smoked CBD.
For most states, the minimum age to purchase CBD is 18 or 21. Please check with your local and state laws before purchasing. If you're buying one of our products in store, your retail vendor will know the applicable laws.
For our CRÈME Original CBD cigarettes, we do not include any additives. They contain only one ingredient. If you're looking for a single ingredient item, then this is the cigarette for you.
Our CRÈME Peppermint CBD Cigarette contains hemp, organic peppermint leaf, peppermint oil, and food-grade flavoring.
Our CRÈME Vanilla CBD Cigarette contains hemp flower, a pinch of organic damiana, and food-grade vanilla flavoring.
Our CRÈME Peppermint CBD Cigarette tastes like a refreshing peppermint patty combined with a menthol cigarette. A hint of chocolate paired with a sweetened filter makes this a delectable smoke!
Our CRÈME Vanilla CBD Cigarette tastes like a French Vanilla Coffee, or so our customers say. Our Vanilla flavor is our best seller, and we can see why!
Due to the naturally pungent aroma of hemp, it's actually pretty difficult to flavor hemp well. The process of flavoring hemp requires a tremendous amount of R&D, especially considering our standards of quality. You may find some other flavored hemp products, however, they often times taste artificial.
We strive to only create products that we would smoke ourselves, and that means only creating great products that we love. Please be patient as we work our way to new products. And we promise we will do our best to keep on delivering.
If you have suggestions about flavors that you'd like to see next, head to our contact page to let us know! We welcome recommendations and new ideas!
